10 people die annually because of the sharks' attacks. 200 million sharks are killed by people annually. And people hunt sharks with different aims.
The economic use of sharks led to the extinction of these animals. About 70 species of sharks are under the threat of extinction. The majority of these species are characterised as incapable to survive despite the possibility to adapt quickly to any environmental conditions.
The sharks' hunting is one of the most popular kinds of sports. The teeth of sharks and sometimes even their heads are the favourite trophy of the hunters. Usually people hunt sharks because of finning because their fins are used for the cooking of the Chinese soup.
Many cookeries of the world use the meat of sharks in the cooking of the typical dishes. That is why Chinese people are not the only guilty. Uncooked meat of sharks has the smell of the dog, and the cooked one has the smell of ammonia. Usually the sharks' meat is used in the Asian cookery. In Greenland the meat of sharks is used to make the national dish called "tipnuk". In Island people also use this meat to cook Hakar.
The shark's extinction is provokes the appearance of the great number of small predator fishes and this causes the extinction of herbivorous fishes and this increases the quick development of weeds that ruin the corals and this increases the waves and causes the increased turbulence and it causes tornados.
