However this is one of a few scientific investigations as sharks keep so many other interesting features and extraordinary abilities that were not investigated by scientists but are discovered day by day.

Myths about sharks

There are several myths about sharks in which people believe. It is hard to convince somebody in that they are wrong.

The most famous myth is that sharks don't love people. They try to avoid us wherever possible and in the places where it is possible. People are not their usual prey. The attacks of sharks are usually mistakes of sharks that can't tell people from seals. In the majority of cases the shark swims away from people realising it made the mistake. Unfortunately there are cases when one simple contact with the shark will be enough.

Another spread myth is that sharks are stupid. But it was proven that sharks have complicated structure. They are developed creatures and it is even possible to teach them.

Many people believe that sharks are blind, but it was also proven that sharks have very developed eyesight as well as other senses having even receptors able to catch the prey easily. There is also spread opinion that sharks are very sensitive to loud sounds. It is not true. They can find the victim anyway if it is bleeding.

Moreover sharks can see the colours and have very good eyesight that is several times more sensitive to the light then the eyes of people. The great white sharks usually use their eyesight to focus on the victim.

There is no shark that would be unstable psycho that always needs food and especially human meat.
